Words like anthem, classic and evergreen are often used to describe records. The Right Track probably deserves to be recognised this way. It’s been around from day 1 and nearly sixty years on it’s as good as ever.

This album deals with Butler’s 1964-1966 releases on OKeh. You should note there is a sticker on the rear cover, otherwise the album is in fabulous condition as the photos here show.
The sleeve notes are comprehensive with a mini biography of Mr William E Butler. Most of what you want to know about the early releases is there and the sound quality of this UK released album is superb.
The track listing is not a chronological list of recordings, opening with the title track. Settle down with a cuppa and drop the stylus on track one.
