Did You Know?… Herman Griffin was once husband to Mary Wells. Apparently a bit of a show off, he encouraged Wells to leave Motown which by all accounts was not a shrewd move. Incidentally, it was Berry Gordy who stumped up to pay for Mary Wells’ funeral.
