Released in 1967 the album includes the classic Save My Love For A Rainy Day. Written by Rodger Penzabene, and music by Norman Whitfield. Rodger Penzabene is one of the lesser known writers at Motown. A man troubled by love, he was shy and humble. He took his ownâlife aged just 22 after finding out his wife was cheating on him. He died from a single gun shot wound on New Years Eve 1967.
