The Artistics were a Chicago based R&B group discovered by Major Lance in 1958. The original group members were Aaron Floyd, Curt Thomas, Laurence Johnson and Jesse Bolian. Get My Hands On Some Lovin’ was the debut OKeh release and widely regarded as one of their best featuring one Marvin Smith on lead vocals.
